Although Paul knew not why, he knew that his eyes were fixed upon a donut and that an ant was crawling slowly around its hole. The creature was consuming droplets of water. Although Paul was a simple man, his wisdom had grown as his body had atrophied, and it was apparent that the droplets were only rain droplets that had fallen the previous night.
