2Role of Interpersonal Skills in Business CommunicationI think that Yamada means that if one does not give a hundred percent concentrationduring conversations, then they will not get to enjoy the moment of the conversation. She meansthat for a person to fully gain a conversation's contents, they do not need to be distracted byanything. When a person is distracted, it becomes hard for them to fully gain the 100%concentration needed during a conversation. It relates to listening because, during a conversation, there is a person who talks and the one who listens. The one listening is the one supposed to give100% concentration. I think this is a reasonable expectation in the workplace because, forexample, the employees in an organization need to give 100% concentration as their employersare talking to them for them to be able to perform their duties as expected.
