Spencer Syfrig New York Times Sunday, August 27, 2006 International “Palestinian Prime Minister believes journalists will be released.” Two Fox News journalists are believed to be released soon by the Palestinian group Holy Jihad Brigade after nearly two weeks of being held. The Palestinian government has stated the journalists will be freed from the group and negations will not be made. The Holy Jihad Brigade is demanding that Muslim prisoners be released from US prisons. The journalists were shown on tape and claimed to be treated well by their captors.

Unlike years in the past when fires were centralized, this years fires have been widespread throughout the west. The explanation is believed to be the intense heat coupled with lightning storms. This July two-thousand three-hundred heat records were broken. Fewer houses have been lost this year, but more land has been burned.
