You will compute the length of day for each observation date. 1. Look at an atlas and choose a ‘Southern City’ at least 20 o south of the Equator . 2. Obtain latitude/longitude coordinates for Panama City and your Southern City and record them. One place to obtain this information is: www.timeanddate.com . (type your city in the Search field) 3. For Louisville, Panama City and your Southern City find times of sunrise and sunset for: a. the vernal equinox (March 20) b. the summer solstice (June 21) c. the autumnal equinox (September 22) d. the winter solstice (December 21)
