Essay #1 Jordan Stanton English 103 M/W/F 2:00-2:50 Nutshell The purpose of this essay is to inform a general audience that teenagers or any civilian should be punished highly for committing heinous actions such as murder. I want to reiterate the fact that murder is the worst possible thing someone can do to another individual and the punishment for it should be severe. Throughout the essay I want my thesis to reinforce this concept; if someone commits’ a crime they should receive maximum punishment and shouldn’t be allowed to qualify for a lesser sentence, in order to limit future crimes or crimes of higher magnitude.
