2 When a project is proposed, it is essential to break down the work by assigning who are the stakeholders and what each stakeholder tasks are. This way, the project manager can ensure the deadline of the project and also to make sure the project runs smoothly without many complications. Importance of a WBS Work Breakdown Structure is essential to the project manager because it helps to make their work more productive. WBS will help the project manager to complete the project in a constant manner and ensure the success of the project. Work break down structure consist of tasks, costs, schedule, scope, function and responsibility. Tasks are clearly defined by each member, this way the project manager can supervise the task more productively. Costs are to reassure the project manager that the whole project would not exceed the total budget. Schedule is when each of the tasks are completed, the project manager can check the completion rate of each task. Scope is when WBS helps to identify each task that are needed in the project.
