Ariel Parker Margaret Jackson English 122.010 January 25, 2008 The 2008 presidential election is one that will have a great impact on our nation’s history. With an African-American man and a Caucasian woman running for office, this race will be more about skin color and gender more than anything else. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama bring bravery and hard work to the table. With their vast amount of experience in the political field, who wins the democratic nomination will change history forever. Voters all over the country should put stereotypes aside and focus on what is best for our country’s future. On HillaryClinton.com, an introduction to the website appears before people can actually enter the website. Hillary’s side profile picture and her gleaming smile capture the attention of the audience. One can either choose to sign up as a supporter and contribute, or they can skip the introduction and continue on to the actual website. Her slogan states “Help Make History”. Obviously, she is the first female candidate and winning this election would change history
