The health care system is one of the most significant institutions in charge of patient
health and making the community a better place. Different health facilities exist across the
globe providing health care services to patients. It is important to note the ability of the
hospital to provide quality health care is depended on multiple factors both internal and
external to the organization. Such attributes range from environmental concerns, financial
attributes, competition, patient health-seeking behaviors, and the professionalism of the
health care team.
Trinity Health is one of the faith-based health care organizations offering premier
health solutions within the United States. The organization is no different from other
organizations as it experiences similar challenges in setting up and maintaining the quality of
care. For the success and prosperity of the health facility, a SWOT analysis is important to
determine the ability of the organization to meet the market need and new aspects that can be
integrated into the health facility as opportunities to increase quality and patient satisfaction
( Aslan, Çınar, & Özen, 2014).
The ability of Trinity health to maintain its quality service and high patient turnout is
depended on the strength of the organization. The health care facility focus on providing
high-quality care based on increased technology using state of art technology in patient
management. High technology has been proved to improve patient care, safety and save
multiple lives especially the elderly setting them ahead of other health facilities. Of
importance is the integration of information technology strategy and implementation model
referred to as the Genesis. Its focus is on the use of electronic health records in patient
management. It allows patient information and records to be easily accessed for quality care
and making prompt decisions ( Ginter, Duncan, & Swayne, 2018).

Based on the nature of the health care facility, it provides increased access to health
care through its ability to establish multiple clinics and health cover insurance to the patients.
The challenges affecting the elderly patient are access to health care and the high cost of
health care. Trinity uses such attributes to its advantage by increasing access and providing
affordable health care. The patients are encouraged to register in the “My care” that offers
free and personalized health services to patients.
