Jackson Farley Jackson Farley Professor Weber English 111 2/6/08 Three Revisions are Essential Revision is very important to the writing process. Itimportant because if you were to do a paper the night before it is due, and don’t revise it, it will be given a bad grade and will have many small errors that you would’ve caught if you were just too revise. I think people should revise enough, so that the paper is free of errors and can be accessible to change anything at anytime. I think the appropriate number of revisions you should do for writing a paper is three. The reason it should be three is because if you do it two times you might not have caught everything, by doing it a third time you will almost ensure that most of your mistakes are gone and if you needed to change anything with the paper it could be handled with those three revisions. With the three revisions, you should be able to do anything in that time. During the three revisions, you should look for different things per revision. The first revision you should look for is grammatical errors. The reason you do this in the first revision
