Jackson Farley English 111 The Effects of Chemical Fertilizers Can chemical fertilizers help farmers grow faster food? Chemical fertilizers can be harmful and cause illness or allergic reactions to some people. That’s why there are two kinds of farmers, conventional farmers and organic farmers. There are benefits of both ways of farming, but which way is healthiest and causes less damage to the environment? The healthy way is the way to go. Using inorganic fertilizers can help in your farming expectations in many ways. They make your crops grow fast for quick production. Using these fertilizers is necessary for healthy plant growth and quickness. Compounds of nitrogen are essential for plant growth, as nitrogen is needed for making proteins and so helps the development of healthy green leaves and strong stems (The Free Dictionary 4). The nitrogen helps make your crops grow fast and that makes it so you can sell it to the population and make a huge profit.
