Unformatted text preview: Seth Proctor Thet 2000 April 18, 2008 When I began looking around for inspiration on how to put together the stage and costumes for Bobby Gould in Hell with Mike, our first idea was to really turn to movies and other pieces of work which had Hell as a central setting throughout the work. First off we came up looking at Little Nicky as it had many different scenes involving Hell, Satan, people’s entrances into Hell, as well as many different representations of the characters one may find there. It is from here that the design of Satan’s consume came about, as well as a few idea for the way in which Bobby would be dressed from the performance. The second piece we explored was another movie, Constantine . When looking at the movie, we knew that the Hell it used would both not lend itself very easily towards an onstage representation (much less one put together by entry level, non-major drama students).
