Tenochtitlan was an area full of colorful stone buildings; it was where the emperor lived. 2. What was sold at the Aztec market? I variety of goods were sold in the Aztec market, but the most famous products were fine cloths and birds. In addition, people could also buy fruits and vegetables in the market. 3. What was the main staple of the Aztec diet? The main stable of the Aztec diet was corn because it could be ground into flour to make tortillas. 4. What were some of the reasons that Cortez wanted to conquer the Aztecs? The main reasons were driven by economic and religious gain. The
