Jonathan Retta MUSC 100 February 10, 2009 Song Angles 1) Livin’ a lie a) First verse, A man catches his girlfriend cheating on him, and the chorus will state his distrust for her and how their living a lie. The second verse goes to his own unfaithfulness, and how she can distrust him and how there both liars. Chorus, then the bridge will resolve to them both letting go of their past and trying to make it all work out. b) First verse, the girls has been going through rough times, and has grown an addiction problem. The chorus will talk how she is deceitful and lying, and the world is a slippery slope. Second verse will have her continuing to doubt herself and her existence, and thoughts of physical harm fly through her mind. The chorus, then the bridge will be her reawakening to her inner beauty and human error, and the third verse will lead to her redemption 2) Bottled Up a) First verse, the single mom is dealing with financial struggles, while her kids are reaching the age of difficulty, and she’s stressed out of her mind. Chorus will talk
