Unformatted text preview: I want to choose a career that I enjoy, am good at, and make plenty of money in. All through high school my mother urged and pushed me to go to college at Lipscomb. At first, I had no desire to go to Lipscomb because I was tired of going where she wanted me to go. I also feared that it was going to be like four more years of Goodpasture. Eventually, I found out Lipscomb had a good science program. I also got offered the Presidential Scholarship for $5,000 a semester. Dr. Wilson also wanted me to join the A Cappella Singers here. It seemed it was just my destiny. I finally applied and got accepted, and here I am now. Since elementary school, I have always liked science. I have always liked to know how things work and why they work that way. I am just always hungry and thirsty for knowledge and understanding....
