Personality Assessment and Theories 2 A person’s character is only one of its kind there are no two people alike in the world. No two people have the same personalities each person is different. Personality develops as time goes. It starts when you are born and as you grow you develop a personality. When children start to get older they start to develop their own personality. Personality is developed due to several factors, lifestyle, how you are raised and how you are treated. As we grow up we learn about the things we like and don’t like. So if a child is treated horribly or beaten when they are growing up they can have a negative personality and either be 100% different or they can carry that trait into their own life. With Freud’s theory he says that a person’s personality is not a conscious one its an unconscious one. He
