What are the different ways in which we evaluate people? We as humans tend to assess people in a lot of ways. We are likely to evaluate people primarily by the external look. We are fascinated to converse with people that have some similar traits to our selves or act like us. From time to time we evaluate people through the material items that they have or what they don’t have. After we hold a discussion with them, this is when we evaluate them based on their morals, values, beliefs and educational surroundings. These evaluations will repeatedly change and develop as we learn more about the person and put together new opinions. We have to try not to be so judgmental and try to be willing to learn, openminded and respect people’s differences.How do these factors play a role in our expectations of other people?First of all we establish our status within a group of people via our body language (posture, eye contact ect.) Large, open posture where the person takes up a large amount of space within any given environment portrays strength and leadership.
