When do girls become women? Men are made, women are born The journey for a boy to become a man is more of an active choice (losing virginity), and the journey for a girl to become a woman is natural (puberty/menstruation). Reluctant Champions Development of masculinity in female police officers who are focused on violence towards women. Is this a good thing?
