Also, you must never have completed with a grade of C- or better a course for which MAC 2313 is a (stated or implied) prerequisite. If you have more than eight hours of prior credit in college calculus, you may be required to reduce the credit for MAC 2312 accordingly. It is your responsibility to check and prove eligibility. Textbook, Course Content, Calculator, and Course Objective The textbook for this course is Calculus (Early Transcendentals) , 5 th edition, by James Stewart, published by Brooks/Cole. We will cover Chapters 12 through 16. You will need a calculator with trigonometric and logarithmic functions, but you do not need one with graphing capabilities.
