Epic of ancient Greek literature. • Ganymede- divine hero whose homeland was Troad. Trojan prince, son of Tros.-- Was kidnapped by Zeus and Zeus fell in love with him instantly. -- Eos kidnapped Ganymede and his brother Tithonus. -- Tithonus was placed in the Dardanian lineage. • Laomedon- Trojan king, son of Ilus, father of Priam and Hesione. -- Laomedon wanted to sacrifice daughter Hesione to Poseidon. Heracles and others killed Laomedon and his sons except Podarces when he broke his word of giving them magical horses. Podarces saved himself by giving Heracles a golden veil, and his name was changed to Priam, which means “to buy”. • Tyndareus was a Spartan king, husband of Leda, father of Polydeuces, Castor, Helen, Clytemnestra....
