MOTIVATION TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE 2 Using Motivation to Improve Performance Motivation has been defined as the psychological method that leads to the creation, routing and use of persistence of voluntary activities that are goal based. In reference to Maslow’s model of needs, there is the focus on the learning setting that advances and acquires the extensive needs and expectations of the staff. The main thing for any company is reliance on people working towards a common point, the company’s mission. Through this, the company’s creativity and self-directed learning are also advanced. The company leaders fight with each other in this day and age compared to any other time in the past; creating a working and learning setting that is valuable while ensuring it is effective (Hoffman, 2015). The workplace motivation is the corporate world is described in this paper. Motivational methods and the impact on productivity, enhancing performance and staff resistance to allow for better performance, motivational influence on the leadership and use of motivational theories. Motivational Strategies and Productivity There is a notable contrast that arises between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Intrinsic motivation means the elements that creates an effective and appealing outcome within and about themselves. On the other hand, extrinsic means the form of results that reinforcement applied by the external individuals to direct tendencies. Organizational strategies are directed at the enhancement of staff efficiency in their specific department within the company (Hoffman, 2015).
