SPSS 15 Tutorial 1. Pie Chart Graphs -> Interactive -> Pie Frequency (or Count) or Percent should be on the vertical axis and the variable should be on the horizontal axis. 2. Bar Chart Graphs -> Interactive -> Bar Frequency (or Count) or Percent should be on the vertical axis and the variable should be on the horizontal axis. 3. Dot Plot Graphs -> Interactive -> Dot Frequency (or Count) or Percent should be on the vertical axis and the variable should be on the horizontal axis. 4. Histogram Graphs -> Interactive -> Histogram Frequency (or Count) or Percent should be on the vertical axis and the variable should be on the horizontal axis. 5. Stem-and-Leaf Plot Analyze -> Descriptives -> Explore The variable should be in the Dependent List box. Click on the Plots box and check Stem-and-Leaf. 6. Descriptive Statistics (Mean, median, mode, variance, standard deviation, quartiles, etc.) There are several options, the following gives the most. Analyze -> Descriptives -> Frequencies
