Purpose: The purpose of this Redox Reaction lab was to get acquainted using the multimeter and applying its findings towards other equations and reactions involving anodes and cathodes. We should know the basic design of a common battery and also the chemistry behind why it works. In this lab, we are going to create some small voltaic cells out of various chemicals and measure their potentials, by doing this it will allow us to better understand the chemistry of a battery. We will also be learning about redox reactions, potentials and the chemistry behind a battery.
