Jensen suggests selecting different kinds of music: music that calms you , music that energizes you , and music that inspires you . Include different styles of music. I suggest: 5 Classical 1 Jazz 1 Broadway musical popular, etc) 2 current performers See page 2 which is an example of what we listened to in class. It will give you ideas of what to include in your Composer of the month for your collection. INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 1. Choose one activity from the list below* that you will do with the music listening. 2. Write an objective for each musical activity. 3. List ideas to integrate the musical listening with other subject areas. 4. How many of Gardners Multiple Intelligences are used through your activities and integrations? List them and tell why they are used. *Possible activities that you can do with music listening. You are not limited to these and please do not choose the same activity each month. (In reality, you will want to vary the activities each time the listening occurs.)
