Unforgiven Oral Presentation At first glance, William Munny, “don’t look like no rootin’ tootin’ sonofabitch in cold blood assassin.” William is introduced to us as a weakened and weathered man who is a pig farmer trying to raise his two kids on his own. Showing respect and loyalty to his wife, William attributes this lifestyle that he is now living to her. He is no longer a drunken, assassin-for-hire but rather a family man. Throughout this picture, we are able to see a gradual transformation in William’s character. William goes from having a peaceful life with his kids and lying in the mud with his pigs to becoming the hardnosed killer that he used to be. When Schofield the Kid arrives to ask William to be his partner in crime, William seems very uninterested about taking up his this lifestyle again. He tells the Kid, “I ain’t like that anymore Kid…My wife, she cured me of that, cured me of drink and wickedness.” However, when the Kid first mentions that there is a 1,000 dollar reward
