Jewish Standpoint on Core Teachings Monotheism= belief in one God and the Trinity does not exist because they do not believe in Jesus as the Messiah. Jewish people are still awaiting the coming of the Savior, whereas Christians believe that Jesus is our savior and believe in the Trinity of three gods in One, but still think of monotheism as their traditional worship.
