a. The prompt is asking us to synthesize information from at least three
of the given sources and incorporate it into an essay that identifies the
key issues associated with the locavore movement and examines their
implications for the community.
b. I addressed all parts of the prompt but, even though I used at least 3
sources, I didn’t show how they all relate to each other. Even though
it’s not in the prompt, I didn’t answer the “so what?” question.
c. I didn’t really stray off-topic; I talked about the various consequences
of the locavore movement on the effects it could have on the
community which is what the prompt asked for
d. I would say it’s probably a strength because it makes it more clear
what type of essay I’m going to write and also regarding exactly what
resolution or stance I’m supposed to take.
e. Honestly, the biggest improvement I can make with prompt dissection
is increasing the speed at which I do it. I’m not that fast of a writer so
I don't think it would be wise to try and spend a lot of time on the
prompt dissection

be noted.”
