1.Maintaining a healthy work-life balance can be accomplished through a variety of methods.Setting work hours and sticking to them is one option to consider. It is critical, for example, thatjob boundaries are clearly defined so that adequate time is provided to other elements of aperson's life. This is scheduling personal time to spend doing things that an individual enjoys orwith people they care about.Taking a vacation every now and then to get away from work is also a good idea. Participating innetworks such as professional associations can also help to reduce stress. This should enable aperson to form relationships outside of the workplace.2.A thorough examination of personal abilities and knowledge, followed by a comparison tocompetency criteria, may identify a gap that has to be filled. This void is addressed by personalgrowth demands, which can be met through training and development programmes. An individual, for example, may be skilled in one area yet require a greater level of competence inanother. This gap between being good at something and becoming even better at it couldnecessitate individual training and development activities.3.Peer review, or the process of reviewing the professional work of colleagues and associates, canbe a stand-alone or integrated part of a larger scheme, such as a 360-Degree Feedback plan.
