Discussion board 7 question 3 I think the answer is C: Lisa does not have a valid claim for gender discrimination if the department can show that the agility test, as composed, is job-related and necessary. As to be a patrol police officer they need to have some minimum physical agility standards to meet before qualifying. The department needs physically fit men or women who are able to conduct their roles and responsibilities. I found below stats while going through couple of articles on hiring processes for patrol officers, after comparing the below stats to the given case stats, it looks like the requirements of Foggy Bottom Department is reasonable and valid. Below is the minimum requirement I found while I was going through few articles. FEMALE Candidates Age Sit-up Push-up 1.5 Mile Run 20-29 32 15 14:50 30-39 25 11 15:43 40-49 20 9 16:31 50-59 14 - 18:18 60+ 6 - 20:16 Discussion board 7 question 1.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
