Example APA Results 1 Results A one-way, between-subjects analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to analyze participants’ attraction ratings for the group. The overall ANOVA revealed a statistically significant effect for hazing condition, F (2, 60) = 10.03, p =.003. To explore the significant ANOVA, Tukey-HSD post-hoc tests were conducted to determine which severity of hazing conditions were statistically significant from each other at a p<.05 level. The severe hazing condition ( M =195.3, SD =5.43) was statistically significant from both the mild ( M =171.1, SD =6.25) and no hazing control ( M =166.7, SD =5.14) conditions, however no difference was found between the mild and control conditions. Finally, eta-squared was calculated to determine the overall effect size of the relationship between hazing condition and attraction rating,

The DV is attraction to the group. Example APA Results 2 Figure Caption Figure 1 . Mean attraction ratings for hazing conditions.
