Discussion #1 Intrinsic and Extrinsic Satisfaction Briefly describe your future career goals My future career goal is to become a teacher and an administrator at the middle school level. I work at a middle school now and I really enjoy that age of students. I am teaching and tutoring students and I help handle discipline issues and I enjoy it. According to Typefocus.com, they agree that I have the personality, interest and values to be successful in this area of work. What extrinsic factors will you look for in your future career? What can you live without? Financial bonus, praise, vacation time, sick leave and corner office by the window are rewards, where people have control of how much you receive. I would enjoy all of these people controlled awards, but there are two extrinsic factors that are important to me. The extrinsic factors I will seek in my future career are financial raise and praise. Going from $40,000 to $90,000 year is very motivational to me. Making more money is one of my biggest extrinsic motivators, because that’s a change that is beneficial for me and my family.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
