Everyone wants to feel connected with each other and know what’s going on in theworld at every waking moment. Unfortunately, social media can be a beneficial tool and beharmful simultaneously. It has the ability to limit people’s productivity, cause depression andanxiety, and spread misinformation amongst millions of users. With the growing usage of socialmedia, users should limit their time online to counteract harmful effects on their health, andplatforms should be responsible for the content that is shared.Many valid arguments could be made against whether or not social media causes damageto someone’s health and the benefits that it provides.
