Racism has been a detrimental issue in America society ever since the evolution of the United States of America. Nowadays, the social aspect of discrimination and prejudice because of race is common worldwide. This includes beliefs of ethnocentrism, superiority, inferiority and racial purity which furthers widens the gap between races in America society. Racial inequalities began as far back as Native Americans being killed for land and slaves being brought over to America to work for free. In today’s society, the dominant culture, which are Caucasian Americans look down on minorities groups such as African-Americans and Arab-Americans. Since the aftermath of slavery, Caucasian Americans believes that there are superior to African-Americans because they were given privileges and rights that weren’t given to any other races in America. Ever since the Civil war era, African Americans having civil rights and equality were a big issue for the dominant culture. They have put laws in place so that Caucasians Americans and African
