Brian Budrow Biographical Sketch for Karl the Giant This is a biographical sketch of the character in the screenplay ‘Big Fish’, known as Karl. The following will describe the beginning of Karl’s life, as well as his childhood until he encounters Edward Bloom. The dark and murky swamp, outside of the small cottage that belonged to a very kind couple, was absent of the sound of the crickets chirping and the creatures in the shadows moaning. This night was a special night for the couple who were about to give birth to a very special and different boy. For nine months the wife’s belly grew to unimaginable size as though she had eaten a large beach ball. The doctor of the small, quaint town that surrounded the swamp could only explain the enormous size of the mother-to-be’s belly as multiple children. When that tension filled night finally came the couple and the doctor were shocked to find that there would only be one baby pushing its way out of its mother’s womb.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
