Ankeny Blvd. Ankeny, IA 50023 Dear Reflection Reader: Below is included a short reflection of my strengths and weaknesses as a writer in English 108. I will go over each goal separately one by one. I will also site references to some of my old papers. Goal #1. Demonstrating and adapting typical business/technical writing forms appropriate to my message, purpose, and audience. I have learned many important things about writing since joining English 108. One of the most important rules in my opinion is to consider your audience when writing. In my instructions paper, I wrote about how to perform CPR. In this paper I had to take into account the type of people who would be reading the directions and how much they would know about the subject already.
