Leonard Lauren Leonard Lauren Adams Arts First; Mod. 1 26 October 2007 Anne Geddes is a famous photographer from Queensland, Australia. Amazingly, Geddes had never had taken any formal lessons or classes but taught herself. She has won over twenty awards for her pictures displaying the innocence and preciousness of children. Geddes work has been published in seventy-nine countries. I think that she is an inspiring photographer because of the fact that she captures children at their very best. The majority of her pictures are of children dressed in costumes. It would be wrong to choose a favorite— but there are many photos I admire greatly; the first being entitled, “Fiona Butterfly”. This picture is of what seems to be a male oriental baby with his eyes closed. He is laying on a purple background dressed in a yellow onesie. Behind him are big yellow wings of a butterfly. Another picture of hers is “Sunflower Trio” and it is of three children dressed as sunflowers. They are sitting in porcelain pots and their faces are adorable. Not only do the children look cute but they look confused too
