We as parents place a lot of emphasis on our children to make good grades and further their education. Going to college can be a good career choice; for example, there are more job opportunities, more money, and your social status is expanded. Today most jobs look for individuals that have college education; however, a person with a college degree is not always best. Degree holders can reap the benefits of having a degree but at the same time having a degree is not always a good thing. Though in past generations having a college degree was not a vast issue, just knowing how to read and write was enough. In the world today you are hired based upon your education level. Depending on the type of job you are seeking, you have to meet certain criteria one in which includes having a college education. There are many different reasons why business
