Understand the three factors which shape Personal Moral/Ethical Behaviors. Describe the two paradigms of Personal Moral Philosophy. Explain the three views of Social Responsibility. Explain how concept of Social Responsibility is applied in Marketing. Significance of Marketing Ethics Ethics are the moral principles and values which guide individual behavior. Laws – are based on society’s values and standards and enforced by courts. Ethical behaviors are becoming important in the business context because are hoping to maintain long-term relationships with their customers. Customers are demanding more accountability and honesty from organizations they plan to do business with. Personal Moral and Ethical Behavior is Shaped by three factors: a. Social Culture – shapes individual’s morals and ethics
