Education: A Right or a Privilege? In today’s society, the job market is based completely on the level of education an individual has reached. In order to support a family these days, it is only necessary to acquire a college education. Without a college education, a person’s career choice is greatly affected. The amount of jobs available to a person without a college education is vastly lower compared to a college graduate. My personal reason for pursuing a college education is quite simple. I intend to start a family some day and I want to be able to completely support them. I also want to be the first member of my family to ever graduate from a higher education institution. That would mean a great deal to me. The completion of my college career would not only be a victory for me, but also for my family. My goals while at college are very diverse. While maintaining a relatively high GPA, I am hopeful that I will meet many new and interesting people. By doing this, I hope this will help me by having future references for jobs and for new life-long
