What I Learned In School As I rise out of my chair I tremble. Am I really going to do this? I ask myself repeatedly. I start to walk to the front of the room, crying inside, and fear to turn around to all of the critically harsh bystanders. I walk up the stage and glance to my left and all I see are the innocent looks toward me, when deep down I know that at any second they are ready to pounce. Any second they are ready to let me have it. Any second they will burst out with their death causing laughs. With my group by my side, we started our inevitable fate. Line after line passes and the sweat begins to gush from my forehead. I am next! I feel scared, nervous, mad, sad, and anxiety. There it is, my turn. I march toward my sure death and give my line. Then I go back stage and reluctantly realize that I can do this. I have conquered my demons. Public speaking is no fear of mine. Through my many years of school, I have learned many different aspects of life.
