Mexico: Day 32   Thank God it's Friday!! Language school and then it was a free afternoon. In school we got to cook a Aztec soup for part of our class today. It was fun! The other half of the group made this potato salad like dish too. The last part of class was spent taste testing our dishes. I like the soup a lot, but wasn't as keen about the potato thing. In the afternoon I ended up playing some soccer. It was fun, but hot. We always are falling and laughing. ..bruises and cuts but it's a good time. I went for a nice jog and then some pilates to round out the day. It felt good to just blow off some of the stress from school and our busy week. However, after I got done some of the girls confronted me about some things. I felt sad, mad, I just didn't know how to take what they were saying to me. This whole week I could tell something was up and felt out of the loop and kid of threatened. It was like they all ganged up on me behind my back. My feelings were pretty hurt. ..we talked a bit, but it's still bothering me. Not to complain but they just like to cause a lot of drama. I just try to ignore and really didn't want to be brought into it. I'm still not sure what to do. Well anyways, after a quick shower we headed out with Louise and Alley to his house. His family invited us over for dinner. We had some corn on the cob (they put mayo, cheese, chile spice, lime, etc. on it) yummy, also a few cervezas. We spent the evening there. These three cute relatives of Louise's were there, Maria Anna, Crystal, and Cathy. .plus many other kids. I danced with them and played tag in the street. It was a fun time. When we made it home, I was pretty tired and decided just to head to bed (actually I think we all did). I couldn't write about it last night because our internet has been down, but thankfully it is back up so I can update my journals. We awoke at 6:30 to do boot camp, it was funny because today we got Andrew to try it with us. It was then a quick breakfast and off for a 3 hour car ride to this city known as "the people of fear" or Tlamacazapa. The drive was long and tight but it was nice sightseeing. Our last hour in the car was spent on a up the mountain, steep gravel/dirt road. It was definitely bouncy and we were literally in the clouds. Our van ended up overheating and dying so we decided it was time to take a break and eat our sandwiches and fruit. Basically we picnicked on the top of a mountain. From there it only took us a few moments to get to the city. We arrived in a small village on a hill, Gerardo said it was one of the poorest places we would visit. He said there are only 5 wells for the whole town and actually the town was a lot bigger than I expected. When it is the dry season this town will really kill for water. He also said the only well that will have water at this time is the one way up high towards the top of the
