Teaching/learning Progressions 1. Initiated at stage of no ability 2. Articulates linear progress to point of competence 3. Each step requires concerted effort to be achieved 4. Each step can be achieved with concerted effort in 20-30 minutes 5. Last step in the progression is identical to the program objective!!!! Progressions for Fitness Capacities 1. Ensure proper execution 2. Maintain proper execution over non-taxing conditions 3. Maintain proper execution over moderate intensity Sample Progression for Upper Body Strength Competence Defined Execute at least 20 continuous push-ups with correct form on one occasion. ? ? ? ? ?
