To determine the differences between spermatogenesis and oogenesis 2. Examine the life cycle of a frog from an egg to an adult. 3. And determine the types of cleavage whether spiral or radial. Analysis Figure 3.1 questions 1. Prophase I is when the exchange of genetic material occurs 2. Doubling of DNA occurs during the synthesis phase of Mitosis. 3. The number of haploids is 7 4. Prophase 5. They are located in the centromere 6. Meoisis 1 7. They contain 1N DNAN since sperm and eggs are haploid and can only hold 1N. Figure 3.3 Questions 1. Diploid number is 2 2. Haploid number is 1 3. Each secondary spermatocyte has 23 chromosomes. 4. 46 chromatids. 5. 23 spermatids 6. Functional 7. They allow for an oocyte to get rid of chromosomes while allowing the cytoplasm to take in the least amount of resources into the body.
