Prerequisite
Math SAT score of 550 or higher or MATH 1113
(Precalculus with Trigonometry)
Topics:
The topics include limits, differentiation and
applications, integration and applications, transcendental
functions, sequences of real numbers, and complex
numbers.
Chapters 17
Sections 8.18.5, 11.111.3
Attendance:
Regular
attendance is required in lecture and recitation
sessions. In the event of an absence, you are responsible
for everything that is covered in lectures and recitations.
You are also responsible for inclass and Web
announcements on the 1501 page and materials in the
textbook. I will give you occasional worksheets during
the lectures, which will be collected for the lecture
grade.
Recitation Sessions, and
Homework
You are expected to work (or seriously attempt) all of
the assigned problems before attending each recitation so
you can follow the discussion. You will not be required
to turn in any homework problems. You are expected to
