Kant’s Categorical Imperative is the universal law that will obey with all people that can think wisely and make an ethically suitable decision that is not based upon their own wants and also the decision will not cause harm to anyone else. The Categorical Imperative deals with universalizability and states that an act is morally wrong if it cannot be made into a directive for everyone to follow. In Kant’s first formulation of the categorical imperative, he is clearing defining what is morally right and wrong. He suggests that we should act only on that maxim whereby thou cant at the same time will that it should become a universal law” If an act cannot become a law for everyone than it is unethical. Whatever can be generally decided to is what is right or wrong without conflict. An agent's maxim, according to Kant, is his "subjective principle of human actions": that is, what the agent believes is his reason to act.
