3.03 Mendel Conclusion: I think the dominant traits are free earlobes, hair on knuckles, widow’s peak, curly hair, and the cleft chin. I have these recessive genes: Straight hair line, Straight hair, and no cleft. My mom and dad exhibit some of these genes. The offspring of the family that I interviewed had showed traits from both parents, and there were no traits that the offspring had that the parents didn’t have. It is possible for offspring to have different traits from both parents because, the offspring could have gotten the traits from another family member. There was no data that surprised me. It is possible for recessive genes to be more in common than dominant genes because, all the parents could have recessive genes, and the family tree could have a history of recessive genes Feature Trait Total Trait Total Earlobes Free Earlobes 13 Attached Earlobes 7 Hair on knuckles Hair present between second and third knuckle of fingers 8 No hair present between second and third knuckle of fingers 12 Hair line

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
