Lab 10 - Plate Tectonics 1. Plate Tectonics Activity ( ) I advise you use FireFox or Internet Explorer for the browser and you will need Shockwave to run the activity. Shockwave is a free application and the site will help. If you cannot get the program to run you can use the “text version of activity ” link For each of the four plates describe what happens and the type(s) of features that are formed when you drag the plate. Include such features as where volcanoes form, long mountain chains, transform faulting, and mantle rising near the surface. 2. Complete the chart for question # 5 on page (243) in the lab manual.
