Sangiovese Tuscany, Sangiovese are said to produces wines that are crisp and lively with savory, cherry fruit flavors and soft to ripe tannins. Sangiovese is a red Italian wine grape variety that gets its name from the Latin sanguis Jovis, “the blood of Jove”. The refined red-fruit flavors of better quality Sangiovese also have mixes of flavors of earth, tobacco and coffee. Sangiovese is the main grape variety of Chianti and the most widely planted red wine grape in all of Italy. Because of the likable level of acidity, Sangiovese-based wines are wonderful with food. This red wine pairs well with traditional Italian meals including tomato sauces, olives, cheese and full-flavored pasta dishes. Today, Sangiovese is also planted widely in California and Washington State.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
