Introduction A woman has been having problems dealing with a terminal illness. She has a five year old daughter and fears she will not be able to care for the child much longer. Her husband is deceased, she is unemployed and has no other family members to assist in caring for the girl. She has decided to place her daughter up for adoption. She noticed that the Social Worker is very good with her daughter. While at the social workers office, the woman overhears the social worker say that she wants to adopt a child. The woman ask the social worker if she would want to adopt her child. You are the social worker. What do you do? One might argue that there should not be a dual relationship between clients and workers. This violates Standard 3 of the American Psychology Association code of conduct, human relations. As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
