1 Author’s Name: Professor’s Name: Course code: Due Date: Different Perspectives of Gay People in Chinese and American Universities Albeit sexual orientation is a new vocabulary, it is a relatively old topic that is likely to be ignored by many people. Since time immemorial, people have come to accept that it is inherent for a man and woman to be together. With the impact of western cultures and widespread globalization, the definition of sexual orientation has been updated to include homosexual, bisexual and asexual orientations. This is especially common among college and university students who have the freedom to try new things out. College students are highly influenced by current trends and practices, which is why they are more inclined to gay relations. Nonetheless, this is not to say that all students fully accept the practice. This paper sheds some light on the treatment of gay people in Chinese and American universities. The different perspectives and tolerance towards gay relationships in Chinese and American universities is also explored. Perspective and Treatment of Gay people in Chinese Universities College students are the main successors of socialism and play a pivotal role in human development. Sexual orientation has a profound influence on their emotional and educational life, making an interesting area of study. Gay people all over the world continue to face challenges including prejudice when accessing healthcare, education, and housing.
