Tute Solution Week 7_2 2015.Docx Updated – 1 September 2015 1 ACCT30004 Auditing and Assurance Services Suggested Solutions and Advice Week 7 Advice Students should continue to develop good answering techniques. Module 2 of the subject has a focus on planning the audit and a sub-theme of the consideration of risk during the planning process. You should aim to begin the development of an approach for answering questions that you will continue to advance during the rest of the semester. Part of this approach should be ensuring two things: 1. That your answers show a logical progression towards the final conclusions 2. That your answers are specific to the situation presented As noted previously, many students are used to giving ‘factual’ standardised answers to questions, you should develop a consistent approach towards questions, but answers need to specifically address the situation presented and the issues raised in the circumstances given. A considerable number of exam question submissions do not receive marks due to them being standardised answers that are true regardless of the situation. If the answer is not specific to the specific situation given zero marks will be awarded. The Client Summary Sheet aims to assist you in identifying the specific details of the question being asked. It is important to read the information actively otherwise your answer is likely to be generic in nature. Applying the concepts in relation to new or different situations is what identifies real learning and real understanding.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
